About Me

Hi, I'm Emma...

I’m a Virtual Assistant based in Folkestone, Kent. I relocated from London a few years ago and absolutely love it here.

Prior to starting my own business, I worked in a variety of industries and roles. Most recently within the Communications and Brands teams at BBC Worldwide. Yes, I did get to meet a few celebs!

I also spent several years temping. It’s not to be underestimated how much you can learn from this type of work. I spent time working for huge blue-chip companies including BP, The Financial Times and Maersk Shipping.

I also spent many years supporting my own family’s small leisure business, and have even worked for public sector organisations and housing associations. Law, fashion, facilities management, even a stint in a quarry!

This breadth of experience means I am a hugely adaptable person, picking up new skills, systems and knowledge as I go.

I love creating websites and online content, and I am particularly interested in how social media can help small and local businesses to succeed. I have a natural instinct for technology and am proficient in all standard office IT packages.

I’m known for my calm and logical approach in even the most stressful situations. I pride myself on being friendly and approachable, with a can-do attitude to ensure we get the best results for you and your business.

When not working I am usually with my two young children, out and about exploring nature – beaches and forests are our happy places. I am also a qualified massage therapist and love exploring wellness and fitness.
